Refund & Cancellation Policy

Because we make fresh coffee and baked goods to order and prepare custom cakes for a specific date, this policy explains how deposits, cancellations and refunds work at Coffee and Bakery, LLC. We want every customer to be treated fairly and to understand exactly where their money stands.
Over-the-counter purchases
If something you bought at the counter is not right — a wrong order, a stale item, or a drink made incorrectly — bring it back to the register the same day and we will remake it or refund it on the spot. Your satisfaction at the counter is immediate.
Custom cake & catering deposits
Custom cakes and catering trays are reserved with a deposit. You may cancel for a full refund of your deposit up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup, because we have not yet bought special ingredients or started baking. Just call us at (941) 412-6870.
After baking has started
Once we have begun baking or decorating a custom order to your specifications — typically within 48 hours of pickup — the item cannot be resold to another customer. If you cancel inside that window, we refund your deposit minus the documented cost of ingredients and labor already committed to your order.
If something is wrong with a custom order
If a custom cake or tray does not match what you approved, tell us at pickup and we will correct it or refund it. We would rather fix a problem than argue about it.
No online purchases
We do not sell any product for online purchase or shipment, so there are no online orders, digital goods, or shipped items to return. All refunds relate to in-person purchases and custom orders picked up at our counter.

Call (941) 412-6870 or come in to Coffee and Bakery, LLC, 1880 South Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293. Approved refunds are issued within 5–7 business days by the original payment method.
